Veronica Reavis Timmons received her Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine's Chicago Campus in 2015 and a Bachelor of Arts from Grinnell College in 2011. She received her certification in Clean Needle Technique in 2014 and was certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2015. Prior to founding Prairie Jewel Acupuncture, Veronica completed four years of training in Oriental Medicine, including nine semesters working with patients in the Pacific College Clinic. During her fourth year at Pacific College, Veronica had the opportunity to treat her own patients under the guidance of a licensed acupuncturist for 540 clinic hours, including two shifts at Chicago Women's Health Center.

Veronica has pursued ongoing education in Balance Method Acupuncture, Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Technique and Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture. She was certified as a Preferred Provider of the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture System in April 2019. 

Veronica enjoys working with patients on a variety of conditions including pain management, psycho-emotional and cosmetic acupuncture.
